Terms and Conditions

Sales, Service and Repair
  • As the owner of the machine, it is your responsibility to properly maintain and care for the machine. Failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions may void your warranty.
  • Bridge Mower & Chainsaw Centre requires a $40 deposit for any small machines left for servicing, this is deducted from the overall repair price at pick up, or in the case that the machine cannot be repaired, the $40 deposit covers labour to inspect the machine.
  • Bridge Mower & Chainsaw Centre requires a $125 deposit for any Ride On machines left for servicing, this is deducted from the overall repair price at pick up, or in the case that the machine cannot be repaired, the $125 deposit covers labour to inspect the machine.
  • Any products purchased from boxed stores that require an inspection for possible warranty, will require a $40/$125 assessment fee, payable on drop off.
  • Bridge Mower & Chainsaw Centre reserves the right to refuse repair on inferior products. Products not sold in our store are not covered by warranty and cannot be guaranteed to have parts available and/or be repaired.
  • Bridge Mower & Chainsaw Centres’ liability is limited (so far as allowed by law) to written claims received by Bridge Mower & Chainsaw Centre within 14 days of the delivery/receipt of the repaired item. If such limitation is precluded by law and the repairs are not for personal domestic or household use, Bridge Mower & Chainsaw Centre liability is limited to (at Bridge Mower & Chainsaw Centre discretion) the supply of or payment of the cost of supplying the cost of the repair.
  • Bridge Mower & Chainsaw Centre is not liable for any damage to or destruction/theft of the goods unless found by law to be or to have been caused by negligence.
  • Any goods not collected within 6 months of the date left can be sold at auction or by Bridge Mower & Chainsaw Centre to cover storage and parts/materials supplied to the repair.
Accounts

As of the 1st July, 2024 we will be implementing new accounts payable terms in order to streamline our financial processes and ensure consistency across all customer accounts.

These changes are being made to better align with our suppliers and to support our ongoing commitment to providing you with exceptional service.

Outlined below are the key details of the updated accounts payable terms:

  1. Payment Due Date:

The payment due date for invoices will be 14 days from the date of invoice issuance. Please ensure that payments are made promptly to avoid any disruption in services or potential late fees.

2. Accepted Payment Methods:

We accept payments via Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Direct Deposit. Please use the invoice or repair number on your invoices for timely processing. We have also had to introduce a card processing fee for any payments made over the phone or in store.

3. Updated Bank

Please ensure your bank records are updated to reflect our new details. Please call the store if you are unsure.

4. Late Payment Policy:

In the event of late payments, a late fee of $50.00 will be applied to the outstanding balance, every 14 days. We kindly urge you to adhere to the payment due dates to avoid incurring any additional charges.

We understand that changes to payment terms can impact your financial planning, and we want to assure you that our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible for you.
